Women contribute money for prisoners

Eastern Equatoria women contribute money and some materials for inmates at Torit State prison.
 
Josephine Nakuru Ambrose, Chairperson of Women Association in the state, says the contribution is to meet basic needs of female inmates, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
She notes that female inmates in the facility face more challenges than their male counterparts.
 
Nakuru says people contribute according to their desires.
 
She discloses that, the association has received most of the contributions for the inmates.
 
The women leader disclosed this during a rule of law forum at in Torit town on Wednesday.
