There are many enemies of peace, says Awerial Bishop of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan.

Bishop David Akau Kuol says through the Holy Spirit lasting peace will prevail as South Sudan’s future is in God’s hands .

“We know that, there are a lot of people who are against the peace to come to South Sudan. But through the power of the Holy Spirit, the peace will come to South Sudan because our God has love us, our God has care for us and our God is looking unto us” Mr Akuol says.

“As a nation, as individual, God has a plan us. Let us open our hearts to receive the peace that God is going to bring. And I know, there are a lot of challenges, there are a lot of challenges on the way, but again, God has a plan for you, for us and for the nation of the South Sudan.” he believes.

Bishop Akau urges citizens to forgive another.

“To give hope to all and the future, let us renew our hearts, let us open our hearts, let us give God a chance in our hearts, that God will enter into our heartsand the we will forgive each other. We know we are wrong, but God is going to open our hearts and then we love each other again”, he adds.

He tells people to pray to God and not to worry about anything.
