Fourteen civil societies in Western Bahr El Ghazal are alleged of working out of their mandate, says State Governor.
The civil societies in a statement accused security organs for looting and creating insecurity in some residential areas in Wau, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan says instead of collaborating with the government the group is writing a statement contrary to their goals and objectives.
He warns them to look at their mandates and stop working against the government.
The Governor describes the civil society statement as unfair, lacks evidence and not polite.
Civil society organizations in Wau last week asked for the relocation of SPLA soldiers from residential areas.
Stephen Robo, a civil society activist says soldiers have turned against the population.
They are looting and beating civilians, he says.
Mr Robo told the SPLA not to harass traders and customers on their way to the markets.
Civil societies say the statement was in good faith.
He made the comment during a meeting with civil societies, security organs and council of ministers.
