Yei Chamber of Commerce reports that after a recent assessment in markets, prices of goods are increasing on daily basis, describing it as serious situation.
Deputy Chairperson Taban Jacob John told Radio Easter in an exclusive interview that a bottle of water which was one South Sudanese Pound has now increased to three Pounds.
Mr Taban laments that traders are facing problems in the exchange rate because neighboring countries like Uganda have devalued the South Sudanese Pounds.
The Deputy Chairperson urges the government to intervene in supporting business community to import foreign goods.
