Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator is calling for the intensification of evangelization to proclaim Christ in unreached population.
Monsignor Thomas Oliha during a closure of evangelization seminar on Thursday urged priests to give first priority to proclaiming the word of God to societies that are believed to have not known Jesus Christ up to now, Radio Emmanuel reported.
The apostolic Administrator stresses the need for active evangelization instead of passive one, saying Catechists are instrumental in the pastoral ministry.
The Apostolic Administrator recalls that the evangelization seminar falls under the 50th year of ‘Ad gentes’, a document, Pope approved by the second Vatican Council in 1965.
