Western Equatoria Caretaker Governor refutes allegations that there are opposition forces operational in the state.
Patrick Raphael Zamoi on Monday said only criminals there are robbing people and that Riek Machar mere propaganda aims to destroy Equatoria region, Radio Bakhita reported.
He also denies the allegation that the state government was behind the tanker explosion in Maridi County where more than two hundred people died and dozens injured.
Western Equatoria which was one of the peaceful states in the country witnessed a lot of conflicts especially in Mundri and Maridi Counties which claimed many lives.
