Yambio County Commissioner in Western Equatoria State discloses issuing a local order next week to deal with people loitering in the area during curfew time.

Hussein Enoka told CRN on Wednesday that if a drunken person is found moving at night he /she would be imprisoned for two weeks, a normal person would face a month jail without fine and that security organs would get rid of those carrying guns.

Commissioner Enoka warns civilians against carrying guns, instructing soldiers not to move with firearms in the town except those on duty.

Mr Enoka says civilians possessing guns would face investigation and individuals with illegal guns would be labeled criminals.

The Commissioner reports that calm returned to the county after introducing curfew following daily killings, shooting of people and burning of houses in Yambio.
