Cabinet Minister blamed the Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD for the slow implementation of the peace agreement, calling for it to swiftly deploy Monitoring and Verification Mechanism to enforce ceasefire on the ground.
Martin Elia Lomurö says National Constitutional Amendment Committee should currently be functioning to incorporate the Agreement into the national Transitional Constitution, Radio Bakhita reported.
The Cabinet Minister made the remarks on Wednesday during ‘Wake-up Juba’ talk show of Radio Bakhita.
