The community’s chairperson in Yei, Musa Hakim calls on citizens to love one another regardless of religion and work jointly towards ending the war, commending the unity between Christians and Muslims in the country, Radio Easter reported.
Yei Mayor, Santo Paul Lasuba, appeals to Muslims to embrace respect and good relationship with fellow brothers and sisters of other religions.
The leaders made the statements while addressing Eid El Fitr at Yei Freedom Square on Friday morning.
