The Catholic Diocesan Coordinator of Rumbek on Sunday graduated 26 catechists after finalizing four-week training and commissioned them to go out and accomplish God’s mission by preaching the Good News to the poor.
Monsignor John Mathiang told the catechists to be useful instruments of God to spread the love of the Creator, Good News Radio reported.
The Monsignor encouraged the catechists to proclaim the Good News without fear, assuring them that God is there to guide and protect them.
The Coordinator admits that the preachers would face many challenges in their service, advising them to have trust often in God.
The Diocesan Coordinator made these remarks at Holy Family Cathedral during his homily on Sunday.
