Central Equatoria State Governor has promised to provide one generator for Yei Municipality to rectify recurrent problem of electricity shutting down business.
Deputy Mayor Silvano Ali Sanguson tells Radio Easter that the municipality has been informed about Governor Clement Wani Konga’s pledge for a new generator.
He says Governor Konga has sent a delegation comprising of State Finance Minister David Juma Augustine and a group of Juba based engineers destined to assess the condition of broken generators and report.
He reveals that Yei Electricity Corporation Office or YECO is going to be dissolved and new ones will be formed upon receipt of the new generator from the governor.
YECO only serving generator exploded and broke down last Friday due to overloading on power.
