Aid agencies to deliver 300,000 tons of relief items to South Sudan

United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator announced on Tuesday that agencies are preparing to deliver three hundred thousand matrix tons of relief items in the next three months to different locations throughout South Sudan.
 
Toby Lanzer told journalists in Juba that they need to access as many people as possible by road with aid operation to minimize the cost of the air transport.
 
He appreciated the warring parties for facilitating their increased access by road to conflict affected people.
