Yabongo Primary School Teacher was brutally killed on Monday morning in Mokongo residential area in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.
An eye witness, Veronica Gumbahahima Nakoyego told Radio Anisa that suspected organized forces warder hit Joseph Gangara on his head twice with an axe and died on the spot.
The eye witness said the incident took place at around 7:30 AM as the deceased was returning from sending his nephew to his work place, describing his death as unfortunate.
Undisclosed Yambio County Police Investigation Officer confirmed that the suspect is under detention and that investigation is ongoing.
Headmistress, Ernesta Nako Gasi described the late Gangara as a punctual and humble teacher in his profession.
The late teacher was one of the full time and trained teachers in Yabongo girls’ Primary School in for more than five years.
