Yei Social Mobilizer tells parents to allow children vaccinated

Yei River County Social Mobilizer on Tuesday told parents to keep children until they are vaccinated against polio for the nation to remain polio free.
 
Speaking to Radio Easter in an interview, Michael Lugala Nicholas said the campaign which kicked off on Tuesday targets children from zero to five years old including new born and sick children.
 
County Expanded Program on Immunization Deputy Supervisor Sarah Polly Alphonse said two drops of oral polio vaccine strengthen child immunity.
 
Ms Polly called on communities to cooperate with vaccinators as they move from house to house in giving the vaccine to the target groups.
