Security Criminal Investigation Department or CID in Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal State on Friday arrested and detained Radio Tamazuj female freelance journalist for more than five hours.
Alor Deng Kur state Union of Journalist of South Sudan or UJOSS Chairperson confirmed to Radio Voice of Hope that Margret Gitano Goc was arrested at 1:00 PM and detained till 7:00 PM.
He said the journalist was accused of conducting interview with the impeached State Legislative Assembly Speaker Mayar Acho.
The security agents asked her to report to their office every day for further investigation.
The journalist denied the accusation.
