UDSF says Assembly no longer represents common interest

The United Democratic Salvation Front-Mainstream or UDSF-M State Secretary criticized Western Bahr El Ghazal members of parliament for letting down the voices of the people they represent and opted to individual interests.
 
Juma Zachariah Deng said the conflict in the state assembly has nothing to do with the common good of citizens but rather to gain tokens MPs individual pockets, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
 
He said State Assembly instead of evaluating ministries’ performance on service delivery; it was forced to compromise with laws at the expense of citizens.
 
Mr Zachariah said the Assembly has right to impeach any member of the assembly and the executive for the good of the people of the state not personal interest.
