The rate of Tuberculosis is recorded to be on increase in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
Speaking to Radio Easter in an exclusive interview, Tongu Felix Olu noted that the department registered at least 50 TB patients due to lack of awareness and the spread of HIV among other factors.
The officer called on the State health ministry to embark on TB awareness and prevention mechanisms.
The officer requested the public to report cases of TB to the nearest health facility for immediate attention.
