Community Empowerment for Progress Organization said lack of accountability was identified as a major factor to poor primary education performance in Morobo County of Central Equatoria State.

CEPO Communication Officer James Hitler stressed high need for accountability and monitoring of education stakeholders in the county, Radio Easter reported.

He announced CEPO’s plans to train education officials and members of the society to improve the quality of education.

Morobo County Deputy Education Director Muto Moses Amule attributed the poor performance to parental negligence and instructor’s competency.
