A twenty-five-year old man in Lainya County on Monday beat his two children with a pipe bar unconsciously with one reported died later at Yei Civil Hospital.
Police Crime Officer Alhaj David Banja said the two children: a boy of nine and a six-year-old girl were beaten in Logwili Boma of Lainya Payam with their father suspected of having mental problems, Radio Easter reported.
Mr Alhaj urged parents to report children rights’ violators to the authority so that they are brought to face the law.
Health officials could not be reached for comments.
