Kapoeta East County scored the highest percentage in Eastern Equatoria Primary Leaving Certificate Exams results released on Friday.
State Education Minister Paska Hifita Oduho said 134 candidates sat the exams and 114 passed with 83 percent in Kapoeta East, Radio Emmanuel reported.
The minister said 3,282 candidates sat and 2,238 passed in social studies with 68 percent as the best subject followed by general science where students scored 43 percent.
About 3,310 candidates sat their final exams in 93 Schools, 13 Accelerated Learning Centres and one Junior Technical School across the state.
Candidates of Green Hill Primary School from Juba also attempted Eastern Equatoria Primary Leaving Certificate exams.
