Residents of Napere area discovered a woman identified as Eroni Zuati dead behind her house early on Thursday in Yambio, Western Equatoria.
Yambio Hospital Surgical Ward Officer Kinawo Richard reported that they found a small wound on the neck of the deceased, meaning that she was probably throttled by somebody at night, Radio Anisa reported.
Joyce Ngbapai lamented that her grandmother’s death was sudden because she visited them on Wednesday and claimed no pain or sickness.
She confirmed that her late grandmother Zuati, a resident of Napere lived alone with her dog and most often complained that unknown people knocked her door at nights.
