World Vision Director on Monday while releasing a report about the situation of children in South Sudan, said the kids between five and 18-year old they interviewed in October called for an end to violence, maintenance of peace to resume education.
Perry M Mansfield said the children told World Vision stories of violence and that in the IDPs camps they also experience alcohol violence, Radio Bakhita reported.
He called for urgent peace for children to return to their original homes and continue with education.
Mr Mansfield disclosed that their organization was working on children emergency education.
Peace Building and Child Protection Advisor Jackson Omona said 740 thousand children were displaced in different parts of the country with 80 percent from Greater Upper Nile States.
The Organization called upon the donors’ community to prioritize the need of the children in the country.
