The Catholic Archbishop of Juba called on Christians and all South Sudanese to love and forgive one another, confess, pray hard during the Advent season for Jesus to be born in their hearts and celebrate Christmas in peace.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro who was presiding over the confirmation of 176 candidates at Sacred Heart Kwörijik-Luri Parish on Sunday, said sins make people sleep and not be alert in waiting for the coming of Jesus Christ.
He urged Christians to be ready while waiting for the birth of the Jesus like guards of a big personality.
The Archbishop advised Christians especially parents to clean their hearts ready to receive the Lord and not to overload themselves with earthly materials for Christmas.
He announced that December is the month of confirmation, explaining that Malakal Emeritus Bishop Vincent Mojwok is confirming a number of children today at Mary Immaculate Ku’da West Chapel of Rokon Parish and Auxiliary Bishop Santo Loku is doing the same in Terekeka Parish.
The Archbishop explained that on Sunday he is expected to confirm another number in IDPs camp at Jebel in Juba and give the same Sacrament at the end of December at Lo’bonok Parish.
