Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSSS Yambio Diocesan Dean said County Surveyors started on Thursday demarcating the Church land in Hai Stadium.
Pastor Nicolas Kumbo disclosed that Yambio Bishop and Timbiro land committee agreed to demarcate part of the Church land in Hai Stadium and lend the plots to residents for unidentified amount of money during a period of 30 years.
He explained that a size of each plot is 35 by 30 meters to be lend to more than 600 households as source of income for the church.
Pastor Kumbo appealed to the people to be patient while surveyors continue with the demarcation.
He cautioned individuals who sold plots in the church land without legal documents to resolve their issues before completion of the ongoing demarcation.
The Dean called on people staying on church land to abide by rules and regulations because church land is different from that of the government.
