Comitato Collaborazione Medica or CCM, an Italian charity medical organisation in Tonj South of Warrap State is conducting nutrition survey in 36 villages to help vulnerable people.
Relief Rehabilitation Commission Secretary Gordon Makuer urged chiefs and payam administrators to allow nutrition promoters to help communities in residential areas, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said the nutrition promoters would hold group discussions and fill questionnaires targeting children between 59 months and six years old.
The Secretary said about 50 participants were trained for nutrition promotion in Greater Tonj areas.
Mr Makuer urged Tonj communities in the County, Payams and Bomas to bring their children to nearby health centres to avoid nutrition problem.
