MTN mobile operator in South Sudan joined the campaign against HIV AIDS to remind citizens of the dangers of the disease.
MTN Chief Executive Officer Paul Besiimire said AIDS victims always suffer social stigma even during treatment, Radio Bakhita reported.
South Sudan AIDS Commission Director-General Habib Daffaallah called on MTN to increase efforts to enlighten people on the negative impacts of the killer disease.
He urged the Company to conduct such initiatives annually.
Male and female condoms were demonstrated during the conclusion of the campaign.
