United States or US Ambassador to South Sudan on Tuesday told the press that US continues to support peace talks to realize development in the country.
Charles Twining said dialogue is suitable for ending war; ushering peace and freedom in South Sudan.
Dams, Irrigation and Water Resources Ministry Undersecretary Isaac Liabwel disclosed Urban Water Corporation’s five-year plan to improve water treatment plants and supply the whole Juba City with the aid of development partners.
He added that the Corporation is liaising with Juba City Council Mayor to address urban sanitation; garbage collection and treatment of sewage.
The officials made the statement on Tuesday in Juba during USAID and UNICEF launch of two years’ 14 million Dollars emergency project for clean water, sanitation and prevention of gender-based violence.
