Young Women Christian Association workshop concluded on Thursday in Juba, Central Equatoria State.
The Association Executive Director Modi Enosa Mbaraza told Radio Bakhita that the workshop that started on Tuesday was to train women on the United Nations Resolution 1325, roles and responsibilities of the group countrywide.
She added that another reason for their visit to Juba was to form the Association’s branch in Central Equatoria State.
Mrs Enosa said they empower women at all levels and advocate for their involvement in the peace talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and lobby for participation of young women at decision making process.
Young Women Christian Association is a non-governmental organization with its head office in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.
