Catholic University of South Sudan Dean of Students is reported dead in Kampala, Uganda after a persistent illness.
University Vice Chancellor Father Mathew Pagan announced the death of Professor Richard Miriga on Monday, Radio Bakhita reported.
He added that last Tuesday the deceased Dean of Students visited a doctor in Juba, but the doctor expressed sadness about his health condition.
Fr Pagan consoled students that time had come for Professor Miriga to pass away from the world irrespective of age and the crucial job he was doing.
Professor Miriga had been serving in Catholic University of South Sudan since 2009.
