Yei Catholic Diocese Secretary-General in his homily on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral urged citizens to use God-given gifts for investment in available resources for nation building and development.
Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit called on nationals to utilize talents and resources for addressing the nation’s weakness in health, agriculture and education, Radio Easter reported.
The Secretary-General said the civil war is claiming several lives due to ignorance on how to use natural gifts.
He cited greed and envy among South Sudanese who resort to blame God or others for their failures.
Fr Lodongo also urged Christians to continue praying for God’s grace for an amicable solution to end the ongoing conflict in the country.
