Don Bosco Primary and Secondary Schools in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Friday celebrated Teacher’s Day; starting with holy mass and concluded with evening entertainment programme.
The School head boy Mario Maker said every year students remember the good work of teachers on the Day, Fr Cyril Odia introduced in 2009, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said students appreciate their teachers for skills they give.
Don Bosco Bongo Primary School Deputy Principal Sister Adalalies Hanali urged parents and guardians to send more girls to school to compete with their male counterparts.
Don Bosco Secondary School Deputy Principal Jorom Sakuwa advised students not to forget studies during holidays.
He encouraged Tonj communities to send their children to school.
