Western Equatoria State Education Minister on Tuesday disclosed that the national government prioritized four Teachers’ Training Institutes for sustainability.
Pia Philip Michael cited the Teachers’ Institutes as Maridi in Western Equatoria, Rambu in Central Equatoria, Rumbek in Lakes and Mapel in Northern Bahr El Ghazal opening later this year or early 2015, Anisa Radio reported.
He disclosed a donation of 61 million US Dollars for five years’ education support in the country.
Minister Philip earmarked construction of five new eight classrooms’ and administration block primary schools with furniture, water supply and a fence in Western Equatoria.
He added that the education managers and inspectors would be offered capacity building and transport means.
