Rumbek Catholic Diocese Civic Education Officer on Tuesday trained 13 Directors and head teachers on school management in Tonj South County.
John Maluk said the training targeted County Education Directors, Supervisors, Inspectors and headmasters to build their capacity in the school, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He explained that they intended to train 20 participants but 13 came and were very active to participate and asked for more workshops on the same topic.
Mr Maluk said the course was the first for Directors and managers because last month they trained teachers and PTA members on different topics.
He cited poor roads, lack of time and money as major challenges affecting their work.
The Civic Education Officer advised the participants to pass the skills they got from the training to communities and other teachers.
