Indeed and Truth Ministry Hospital officer in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Tuesday said an eye surgeon operated 55 blind patients on the first day and 64 on the second day.
Albino Dut said people who got eye cataract operation were very happy to see again and know their family members, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He added that they registered 344 blind patients for eye surgery to ensure the lucky ones see again.
The officer urged Tonj communities to report blind patients for operation in the Hospital before the four days finish.
A blind man successfully operated, Mawien Mawut Ayom, expressed happiness to see again after moving with the stick for a long time.
He testified that now he can see people physically and the types and colours of clothes they wear.
Mr Mawut thanked God for the give of the Doctors to open his eyes again that would allow him to look after his family.
