OXFAM conducts strategic planning workshop in Lainya

Oxfam team on Friday conducted a two-day workshop to develop a three-year strategic developmental plan in Lainya County of Central Equatoria state.
 
Oxfam Governance Program Manager Osisa James expressed readiness to work with local authorities to develop the capacity in planning, budgeting and training of councillors, Radio Easter reported.
 
County Commissioner Huda Michael Laila commended Oxfam and CEPO for processing the new planning to replace the old one expected to expire by the end of July 2015.
 
She stressed the need to review the implemented activities in the old plan before new plan is out to enable the government deliver planned services through lobbying NGOs to accomplish what was not achieved.
