Apostolic Administrator of the Apostolic Church of Torit reminded the warring parties that God is the only owner of life and that no human being has the right to take away human life, warning that God does not want the killing of people.
Monsignor Thomas Oliha Attiyah said they trust in the Lord and any destruction to human life is wrong because God wants people to follow the goodness of Jesus Christ.
The Apostolic Administration said the war is a big challenge in South Sudan because it disabled the church to preach God’s message to the needy, pleading for an end to the conflict.
Monsignor Oliha urged the warring parties to acknowledge, accept their mistakes and repent to get a change of hearts.
The Apostolic Administrator appealed to youths to be good, accept Jesus and Christ’s way of peace, love, solidarity and unity.
