National Healing, Peace and Reconciliation Committee chairperson on Wednesday at the closing of the four-week training of peace mobilizers in Yei, urged participants to endure obstacles they would face while implementing the skills they gained.

Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul called on the mobilizers to be courageous and committed in their work, saying though peace is paramount, bringing unity among South Sudanese is challenging, Radio Easter reported.

He also said implementation of the knowledge acquired in one-month training needs sacrifice despite the challenging crisis.

The Archbishop commended partners for their support to train peace mobilizers and urged the promoters to restore the traumatized community.

A participant from Central Equatoria Rose Oleyo Livio said she learnt how to heal trauma and hold peaceful dialogue.

She called on South Sudan citizens to accept mistakes, apologize and forgive one another.

The one-month training brought together 76 participants across the ten states of South Sudan and Abyei Area.
