Christ the King Parish Priest at St Daniel Comboni Chapel in Yei Catholic Diocese on Friday said the current politics exercised by the leaders in the nation is full of corruption and scare away investors.
Fr Tom Poru Martin in homily on St Daniel Comboni Day, cited continuous war as one element scaring investors and that some corrupt officials utilize the resources to develop foreign countries instead of their own nation, Easter Radio reported.
He decried that some officials act on the country like renters or foreigners, attributing the ongoing bloodshed in the country to corruption.
The priest urged citizens to continue praying for those suffering in Upper Nile region, internally displaced persons and refugees and for the ‘senseless war’ ends through dialogue.
He denounced tribalism in the country leaving citizens in agony.
