Eastern Equatoria State on Thursday approved privileges and post benefit allowance bill for constitutional post holders.
Acting State Assembly Speaker Paul Napwon presided over the session that endorsed the bill in an extraordinary sitting as the Augus House applauded.
He explains that a bill once passed by the assembly automatically becomes law if the state governor fails to sign within 30 days.
The Speaker added that only reservation circumstance over a bill may cause re-tabling by parliament to qualify the bill law after second passage.
He told media that the bill would not benefit political post holders from Comprehensive Peace Agreement or CPA era up date.
Speaker Napwon explained the present constitutional post holders would miss the privileges and benefits due to failure in the past.
The Benefits and Privileges Bill covers transport, business extraordinary sittings, medical, hospitality allowances and post service benefits.
