Western Equatoria State Assembly breaks for three months recess

Western Equatoria State Legislative Assembly Speaker on Wednesday declared the end of first parliamentary session until Mid-December, 2014.
 
Speaker Bage James Elisa announced the recess after 28 successful sittings characterized with three speakership orders and two resolutions, Anisa Radio reported.
 
The Speaker admitted that three issues were left pending including public hearing of the girls’ education bill, report of Youth and Sports committee and summon of the Physical Infrastructure Minister and others to the state assembly.
 
He parliamentarians for regular participation in the first session of 2014 exception of two sittings missed.
 
Speaker James tasked the state Members of Parliament to conduct public hearing on girls’ education bill in various Counties, Payams and Bomas to compile a report to the Augus House.
