Newly sworn in Eastern Equatoria State Secretary-General started with a stern warning to civil servants against dodging work and only following salaries.
Emmanuel Ociti Ottaviano said after taking oath of allegiance on Monday that he expected all employees to love their jobs, Emmanuel Radio reported.
He added that loving one’s job improves performance.
The Secretary-General also warned of taking administrative measures in accordance with public service regulations against duty absconders.
Mr Ociti encourages employees to translate jobs to improved service provision to masses in form of good roads and hospitals among others.
