Yei Commissioner believes government committed to peace

Yei River County Commissioner expressed his strong belief that the national government is committed to realizing peace in South Sudan.
 
Juma David Augustine told Easter Radio Evening Show that despite huge challenges surrounding the negotiations in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, peace would arise to foster development in the country.
 
The Commissioner expressed their Local government readiness to ensure delivery of services to citizens.
 
Mr David disclosed that the rehabilitation of Yei-Lasu road was already at final stage, citing a distance of one and half kilometres bush clearance left.
 
He explained that in few days bush clearance up to the Democratic Republic of Congo or DRC border would be completed, followed by gravelling.
 
The Commissioner made the revelation to Easter Radio on Thursday.
