Police refutes claims that Selection Committee bias

Assistant Police Inspector General for Planning and Research on Friday refuted claims by some students who failed to qualify for the Police College that the selection committee was bias.
 
Jackson Elia Harriha clarified that they follow set policies where applicants must obtain grades of sixty percent, be South Sudanese and must know English language.
 
The Assistant Inspector General said in the first process, they subject applicants to written English language exams, general knowledge and intelligence test.
 
He said the Committee published the results from number one to the last person and shortlist the best 100 students.
 
The Assistant Inspector General pointed out that they knocked out those who obtained low grades in the first interview, selected 100 students who passed the written interview and made oral interview to choose the best 18 students to qualify for the college in Police Science and Law.
