Tonj Parish launches lepers’ school

Tonj Sacred Heart Parish Priest in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Friday said they would next Wednesday lay Don Bosco Primary School foundation for lepers’ children and host community in Lac-Chok.
 
Fr John Peter explained that there would bless a new Church of Mary Help of Christians and a multipurpose hall.
 
The priest said the foundations’ gracing would be an additional function to the celebration of 200 years of Don Bosco birth day in 130 countries worldwide.
 
Fr Peter urged Christians to pray for one another to cherish peace; love and unity among communities in the country.
 
The priest revealed that Don Bosco’s and Mary Help of Christians’ congregation benefactors would build 100 primary schools in South Sudan and that construction of 37 others was already complete in Tombura-Yambio, Wau, Juba and Rumbek Dioceses.
 
Fr Peter reiterated the importance for Salesians to celebrate 200 years of Don Bosco birth day to strengthen their faith to flash out darkness.
