Nyongwe Primary School won the netball trophy after scoring 15 goals to 14 against Nehemiah Primary School.
In the volley competition, Emmanuel Model Primary School girls got 100 points winning Christ the King girls who obtained 86 points.
Christ the King Primary School boys won the volley trophy after defeating Immanuel Primary School boys at Yei Freedom Square.
Yei River County Co-curriculum Inspector Pastor Nathaniel Yacut Tires said the inter-payam tournament would be played in Ombasi with two teams from the Municipality.
Yei Education Director Mary Zachariah commended the education office for initiating sports competitions with equal gender participation in pupils and officials.
The Deputy Mayor Silvano Ali Sanguson encouraged the pupils to welcome any defeat in any competitions and exert more efforts for future competitions.
He urged the pupils to maintain peace, develop talents and maintain body health through regular exercise.
