FAO says EE improved infrastructure boosts production

Food and Agricultural Organization or FAO Agriculture Specialist said improved infrastructure in Eastern Equatoria boosted food productivity this year.
 
David Okot said there is influx of maize from Eastern and Western Equatoria to Juba and that things are getting better.
 
The Specialist advised farmers to avoid cutting down all trees because some trees benefit the environment and crops.
 
The Specialist stressed the need to enlighten the public especially farmers on basic environmental knowledge.
