Western Bahr El Ghazal government on Monday received a team of National Peace and Reconciliation Committee from Juba to hold a mini-conference in Wau.
A member of the Committee Ayak Ngor said they are an advance team for a three-day consultation, Voice of Hope reported.
Another member of the Committee Efisio Kon revealed that the conference was to seek ways to restore peace in the country, unite South Sudanese to leave behind tribalism.
Western Bahr El Ghazal Governor Rizig Zachariah Hassan appreciated the initiative, saying it helps tribes iron out differences in the state.
