Yei Catholic Diocese on Wednesday came together to brainstorm and produce a syllabus appropriate for training catechists.
Speaking during the opening of the workshop, Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe, said the meeting of priests and the Pastoral Coordinator aimed to produce syllabus for the training catechists in the next two years, Easter Radio reported.
Bishop Lodu said the main content of the syllabus is faith and scripture based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
The Bishop said the syllabus is also expected to include liturgy, ways of prayer and leadership skills for catechists.
