National Deputy Education Minister said Zimbabwe Primary and Secondary Education Minister agreed to deploy professionals to train teachers of national Secondary Schools, Teachers’ Institutes and Technical Centres in the country.
Bol Makueng broke the news to the media on Monday in Juba after discussing with Zimbabwean counterpart cooperation on curriculum, exams, policy design and training of South Sudanese teachers.
He added that they would sign the Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday.
The Deputy Minister said the number of teachers to be trained would be determined by the needs of subject to be taught in Secondary schools, Technical Centres including teachers of English, Mathematics, Science and Technology.
He wished that the training would start in September after finishing cooperation arrangements.
Zimbabwean Minister Primary and Secondary Education Minister led a team to Juba to discuss cooperation opportunities with South Sudan.
