Yei Catholic Diocesan Secretary General urged Christians to stop blaming God due to evil deeds including wars, frustrations and disappointments happening because they resulted from sins committed without seeking mercy from the Almighty Father.
Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit in his Sunday homily to English congregation at Christ the King Cathedral observed that some believers resort to sin further by questioning God as the cause of death and wicked practices in the world, Easter Radio reported.
The Secretary General said God remains merciful and continues to give time to Christians to repent their sins in order to realize peace.
He warned that continuous blame of God for any painful cause would lead to further sins and existence of disasters.
Fr Lodongo appealed to Christians to respond to God’s conversion from wicked to good lives to receive salvation through Jesus Christ.
